Conflict of interest?

Just change the board biography!
In March 2007, Dr. Miller directed an investigation against a physician who was at odds with BCBS. When the doctor learned
of his allegiance to the insurer, she asked board attorney Katie Johnsonius if anyone associated with her case had a conflict
of interest to declare.
The Board's only response was to remove the reference to Blue Cross Blue Shield from Dr. Miller's Board biography.

He is president of the Shelby-Sabine County Medical Society and
a member of the Texas Medical Association. He is board certified in family medicine and is a fellow of the American Academy

Dr. Miller serves on the Development Council of Baylor University. Dr. Miller earned his bachelor's degree from Baylor
University and his medical degree from the University of Arkansas College of Medicine. He is a former school board member
and is active in various civic projects and community organizations, including the Lion's Club, the Rotary Club, and the Chamber
of Commerce. Dr. Miller has served as Physician of the Day for the Texas State Legislature and teaches medical students as
a preceptor for the Texas Statewide Preceptorship Program. He has been named Supervising Physician of the Year for the State
of Texas by the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants.
