In March 2007, Dr. Miller directed an investigation against a physician who was at odds with BCBS. When the doctor learned of his allegiance to the insurer, she asked board attorney Katie Johnsonius if anyone associated with her case had a conflict of interest to declare. The Board's only response was to remove the reference to Blue Cross Blue Shield from Dr. Miller's Board biography.
